Ian successfully completed his first Grand Tour yesterday! It was an especially good day as Ian signed a two year contract extension with Team Sky. One stage to go in the 2015 Vuelta a Espana. Stage 20 was very difficult with four category 1 climbs. Ian's mom and brother were waiting for him at the finish which provided a big emotional boost.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Ian was rejuvenated today putting in a strong ride working to keep Nieve in the top 10. Ian discusses tomorrow's stage which features four category 1 climbs. Ian Boswell (Team Sky) checks in from the 2nd rest day of the 2015 Vuelta a Espana. Stage 16 featured the 4th mountaintop finish in a row for the racers and Ian had to dig deep on the final climb for team GC points. We discuss what it's like to be feeling like you're at your limit only to have your director radio and say you need to go harder. Ian is finding this rest day more relaxing than the first. We had the pleasure of meeting US Ski Team member Steve Nyman at the Indian Peaks Classic. Nyman developed the technical skills in slalom and giant slalom but found himself drawn to downhill.
