Penn State week has arrived and on today's show Dave Biddle and Dan Rubin take a close look at the Ohio State-PSU matchup and how the No. 3 Buckeyes stack up against the No. 7 Nittany Lions. Penn State's national statistical rankings are impressive (No. 2 scoring defense and No. 5 scoring offense in the country) but the Nittany Lions haven't played a good team yet. Of all the Big Ten teams, only Michigan has played a weaker schedule up to this point.Ohio State has had a tougher slate and the Buckeyes have put up strong numbers themselves (No. 3 scoring defense and No. 20 scoring offense in the land). However, this will unquestionably be their most difficult test of the season thus far. Ohio State was favored by 17.5 points at Purdue on Saturday and the No. 3 Buckeyes nearly doubled that point total. We now have a lot of data on the 2023 Ohio State football team. Five games worth.
