It was wonderful to be invited by our Relational Mission family from Good News Church, Sheppey & Hope Church Sittingbourne to join in celebration and worship as we marked 5 years since the Sittingbourne and Sheppey churches were planted. Our dear friend, Stef Liston (Relational Mission Apostolic Team) travelled over to encourage us in the Word for the morning. This is his sermon, based on John 1: 35-51.

This morning we explored the relationship between hearing and doing, which raises the question: if we're called to be a people of action, how do we know what it is we should be doing? Who are we listening to?

This week Sam will be picking up from where Pete finished last Sunday, as we look at the relationship between trial and temptation. We'll be exploring how, as followers of Jesus, knowing ourselves and knowing God are the key to overcoming.

This week Pete is encouraging us that, even though as followers of Jesus we are to expect trials, by the grace of God we can face them in joy, knowing that by remaining stedfast in genuine faith, we will receive the crown of life.

Over the month of August our Sunday gatherings are going to take on a different pace and rhythm. In this recording, Sam shares our plans about what we can expect

The gospel is good news and as followers of Jesus we have been anointed to bring good news wherever we go, through word and action. This Sunday, Pete will be bringing our 'Changed' series to a close by helping us to consider how we can do good to those in need around us.
