Christ receives us just as we are, but we are not supposed to stay that way! To become a true disciple of Christ, we must respond to the Holy Spirit's guidance and help to change our behavior to become Christ-like. But how?

What does Christ require of us to enter His Kingdom. Nick discusses why your heart condition has everything to do with fulfilling what God asks.

Jesus told a famous religious leader that all his efforts, religion and study had not qualified him to see or enter God's Kingdom. We begin this series talking about the Kingdom; how to see it and how to enter it.

Jesus said, Many are called; few are chosen. What does that mean to you? People who take their calling seriously make the church their priority. They come early and leave late. They always offer their time to serve. They pay attention to needs and quietly go about meeting them when they can. They are faithful in their financial support. They don’t do this to get attention. They do it because they love Jesus. People who crave recognition never fulfill their callings. Why? Your calling has nothing to do with impressing other people or being respected or loved by other people. It is about serving God totally.

God wants you to discover your calling, but we first need to understand what that means. Once we know what a calling means. God wants you to understand clearly why you’re here at this time and place. Paul prays for revelation in each of his readers’ lives. We need to seek the Lord and ask him what our calling requires.

The accepted religion in the United States and Europe is the religion of tolerance. Tolerance preaches that our actions don't matter. We need to accept peoples lifestyles without question. What does scripture teach?

If we believe this often misquoted scripture, we respond to God opposite to the way scripture teaches. He has not asked us to tough it out and carry more weight. He repeatedly taught to put our burdens on his shoulders. God WILL give you more than you can handle so that you come to understand his Presence and Power

People strive to achieve happiness, but this quest is totally impossible. Happiness is based entirely on a happening. In other words, all circumstances must line up perfectly: finances, health, opportunity, talent...etc. God never promised us happiness, but something much more significant and lasting. It is joy. Joy does not come from your environment, but from God.

The Community you choose to be in will determine if God increases in your life or decreases in your life. A godly community creates godly communities. Your current community is a picture of your faith. God wants to change your destiny through community.

Our friends determine (good or bad) what our present and future lives look like. Do you have close friends or is everyone just an acquaintance? What does friendship have to do with faith in Christ?

Many people pat themselves on the back for not being too extreme. They are 'middle of the road' on just about every topic. Interestingly enough, Jesus describes people the middle of the road regarding faith, as lukewarm and disconnected from his purpose. Today, we talk about getting your fire back.

How God sees you is vastly different than how the outside world sees you, both good and bad. The church at Sardis in Revelation had a fine reputation, but God judged them spiritually dead. How do you get back on the road to spiritual recovery?
