This week Carl Gulley continued our series, The Unlikely Ones, with a message on the leper in Matthew 8. The leper was labeled as, “unclean,” and therefore distanced from everyone. Jesus reached across and made him clean again. Many times we see ourselves as unclean and defined by our past sin, but Jesus reaches across and shows us grace with no strings attached. When we walk out knowing we are under grace, we go from doing things to get God’s approval to knowing we are loved by God, and doing things to bring Him glory.
