This week adult pastor Vincent Carpenter shared a message on persevering through the storms of life. Challenges tempt us to take our focus off of what God is doing. But God is faithful to meet us in the midst of our storms, and makes a way for us to make it to the other side.

This morning Lead Pastor Carl Gulley wrapped up our Let My People Go series. Throughout our series, we addressed various pharaohs that try to keep us in bondage. We also talked about tools and weapons that help set us free from our pharaohs. We started our series by looking at the story of Moses, who God called to lead His people out of Egypt. Today, we closed out our series by re-visiting that story. Throughout the course of the past six weeks, we talked about how to get free. Today, we talked about how to stay free.

This week, associate college pastor Maddie Echols continued our Let My People Go series with a message on the power of prayer and fasting. Because we are in a spiritual battle for freedom, our weapons must be divine. Fasting, accompanied by prayer, is a weapon that has the power to bring breakthrough against any pharaoh we face.

This week Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Let My People Go series with a message on the pharaoh of anxiety. Anxiety disorders in America are the leading mental health problem among women and second among men. Anxiety is not a sin. It is an emotion that God doesn’t want us to be controlled by. If we allow anxiety to dominate our lives, we will allow it to steal our joy.

This week Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our Let My People Go series with a message on the pharaoh of lust. Lust robs us of the authority we’ve been given, and uses shame to keep us from pressing into the presence of God.

This week young adult pastor Chase Moore continued our Let My People Go series with a message on overcoming the fear of man. Throughout our morning, we took a look at the life of King Saul. Though Saul was greater than everyone else, he was small in his own eyes. His deep insecurity and fear of the way others viewed him eventually became his downfall.

This week Lead Pastor Carl Gulley shared part two of our series, Let My People Go. For the next several weeks, we will be unpacking how to overcome the various “pharaohs” in our lives. Just as God made a way for the Israelites to be set free from Pharaoh, Jesus came so that we could have freedom from our modern-day pharaohs. This morning, we talked about how to overcome the pharaoh of offense.Sometimes relationships can get messy, therefore offense is inevitable. At one point or another, we’ll find ourselves on the receiving end of offense. Other times we’ll find ourselves as the one asking for forgiveness.

This morning, lead pastor Carl Gulley kicked off our new freedom series, Let My People Go. Throughout our seven-week series, we will be taking a look at the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt and talk about how we can overcome the Pharaohs we face in our own lives.In the end, Pharaoh is defeated, and the Israelites are set free. Our pharaohs, the things that keep us in bondage, have also been defeated because of Jesus. We tend to tolerate slavery and bondage, but God never intended that for us. Throughout our series, we are taking a journey to step into the freedom we were meant for!

The Body of Christ. The fullness of Christ. The army of God. The pillar and support of truth. The hope of the world. This is the Church.This morning Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert reminded us of who we are called to be as the Church, and talked through the five circles of Church. We want to live completely surrendered to Jesus and with a passion for His purposes. When we are all God has called us to be, the world sees Jesus. But first, we need to be anchored to Jesus and to His people. If we are anchored deep, we are able to extend wide and reach those that God has called us to.

This week Vincent Carpenter concluded our series, The Gifts We Give, with a message on the gift of a sign. Just as God gave the Wise Men the star as a sign that led them to Jesus, God gives us signs to lead us. At times, the signs may seem hard to discern, but we can be confident that God is always wanting to lead us into greater life.

During the holidays many of us feel lonely, isolated or rejected. But we all want to be loved, honored and valued. That is part of our humanity. Today adult pastor Vincent Carpenter continued our series, The Gifts We Give, with a powerful call to reclaim our humanity through Jesus, and in turn, give it to others.

This week college pastor Luke Whyte continued our series, The Gifts We Give with a message on the gift of praise. The songs we sing typically end up becoming the soundtrack of our lives. We have a tendency to match our music to our mood, but what if we shifted things? Let’s let praise resound regardless of how we feel because ultimately praise brings the power of God in our lives.

This week adult pastor Vincent Carpenter kicked off our Christmas series, The Gifts We Give. Throughout the Christmas season, we will be unpacking various gifts that lead us to celebrating the ultimate gift of Jesus. The season is more than the material gifts we give one another. This week we took a look at Zechariah and the unexpected gift he was given.

This morning Lead Pastor Carl Gulley continued our series, Turn Your Ears On. Throughout our series we are learning more about what it means to hear God and how we can respond. This week we talked about hearing God through the Bible. The Bible is the very written voice of God.

This week we celebrated Passport Sunday, a day of declaring our willingness to go wherever Jesus calls us. We want to be people that are committed to sharing the love of Jesus until all hear and know. The Church is God’s plan A for spreading His love to all people.

This morning Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert wrapped up our series on the fear of the Lord. Throughout our series, we have defined the fear of the Lord as living in awe, respect and love of God so that we joyfully obey Him in all things. We also learned that we are blessed when we have a balance of both the fear of God and the love of God. Today, we talked about joyful obedience.

This morning Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert continued our series, The Fear of the Lord is…, with a message on the blessings we receive when we fear God. Fearing God is different than the human fear we typically think of. Human fear causes us to pull away, while Godly fears causes us to lean in because we don’t want to be away from God.

This morning Senior Pastor Jimmy Seibert kicked off our new three-week series, The Fear of the Lord is… Throughout our series, we will be talking through what it looks like to live with a righteous fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord and the love of God go hand-in-hand. You can’t have a revelation of the love of God without a revelation of the fear of God. We need the love of God partnered with the fear of God in order to see the power of God.

This week we celebrated where we have been and where we are going with a special generations Sunday. Throughout our morning Carl Gulley shared on why we invest in the next generation, and who we are as an inter-generational church. In a culture that can be divisive, our heart is to see the Church unite the generations for Kingdom impact.

This week Carl Gulley shared part four of our series, Where Mountains Melt, with a message on why we worship the way we do. Some people jump around during worship, others raise their hands and some people sit quietly before the Lord. Maybe you’ve wondered which expression is correct. The truth is, each posture is an expression of worship, and there is no right or wrong way to worship. The goal of worship is not an expression, it is love and obedience toward Jesus. Worship is not an expression, it is a lifestyle.
