Daniel 11 is one of the most remarkable prophecies of the Bible, explaining the rise of two dynasties –centered in Egypt and Syria, and how they affected the people of God. It’s also a preview of what will happen in the very last days.

In Proverbs Chapter 3, Solomon details a two step process in determining Gods will for your life. Complete confidence in the Lord and constant commitment to acknowledge Him in all your ways will result in the Lord directing your path.

In Proverbs, chapter 2, Solomon describes how to pursue wisdom, and the promise attached to the pursuit. Solomon also writes of the peril of living without wisdom which ultimately leads to death!

While Daniel is praying, the angel Gabriel is sent by God to respond. The answer to Daniel's prayer ends up being one of the greatest predictive prophecies of the Bible. The 70 weeks prophecy gives us an understanding of Gods plan for the Jews and Jerusalem and convinces us that Jesus is the Messiah.

As we study Daniel chapter 9, we have an opportunity to peer into the prayer life of Daniel. The four strands that consist of the rope of prayer that he pulls to ring the bell in heaven are: Praising God, Pleading Guilt, Petitioning God, and Proclaiming Glory

Daniel 8 predicted the rise of a terrible enemy of God’s people. This was fulfilled in a minor way in the ancient world (a man named Antiochus), and will be fulfilled in a greater way in a final world ruler in the last days. A man known as the antichrist

Daniel 7 concerns his vision about four beasts representing four world empires, and the kingdom of the Son of Man, Jesus the Messiah, which overcomes and replaces all human kingdoms

Daniel 6:15-28 explains how Daniel was preserved in a den of lions, bringing glory to God and becoming an amazing example of what Jesus would later do.

Daniel 6:1-14 tells the story of Daniel’s faithfulness in prayer, despite the law passed against praying to anyone other than King Darius.

Daniel 5:13-31 completes the story of the writing on the wall that stopped the party of king Belshazzar. Daniel revealed to the king that God had carefully weighed the king and his kingdom, and they both did not meet the measure.

Daniel 5:1-12 tells the story of party that was interrupted by a dramatic message from God, and the king of Babylon called on Daniel to explain the message.

Daniel is astonished at the dream and interprets it for the king. The king was confronted, humiliated, and restored in this unique passage.
