In the middle of a battle where Israel’s troops were in need of refreshment, the direction of God was to prepare the soil and to worship. By the next day, against all odds refreshment appeared and turned the tide. We live in a day where evil is called good. But we who know the power of Spirit driven worship are watching refreshing beginning to appear. What our culture is seeking is an authentic encounter with Jesus. 

Are you Marked??  God sees - and marks - those who are truly His.  Those who weep for what makes Him weep.  Today it may seem that Christians look alike at church…. on the outside.  But those who have His heart, His attention, His protection in this volatile world… are marked on the inside by Him.  And one day - the Marked and Unmarked will be made known!!

 Turmoil is everywhere. Some are looking for the great escape to solve all the issues. Before Jesus returns we have His directive to be bearers of Good News. The Holy Spirit is raising up a generation of emboldened followers of Jesus ready to spiritually awaken our culture. 

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. The enormous battles raging in our culture have their roots in the thought life. Today the truth of God’s Word will expose the high stakes at risk in this war.

A renewed mind: it is the mind God intended for us when He created us. When our mind is renewed, we will live in victory and peace in our troubled world!

“Preppers” are those who prepare for worst case scenarios… they make sure they won’t be caught off guard when disaster comes.  As believers we know that catastrophic disaster IS prophesied to come to this earth… but for those of us who know Jesus - we are actually preparing for the KING.  The preparations may seem impossible in the wilderness of this world (Isaiah 40:3-5)… so how in the world DO we prepare for King Jesus?? The early church impacted their culture and we are called to do the same. Our mission; share the good news and make disciples. Our generation is obsessed with identities - but our God was willing to do the unthinkable in order to identify with us: to become one of us. We are invited to an intimate relationship with this God of incomprehensible love. Question is: do we truly identify with Christ? 

 Miracles happened at Christmas. Christmas shines it’s miracle in our hearts past the commercialization. The miracle of Who came, how He came, who He came for, why He came. 

Have you noticed the trend in many after Covid? The drift. Many hunkered down during the pandemic, but now we see restlessness and lack of focus. Not so for the follower of Jesus. We are not to float through life; we are on a mission. We awaken daily with a purpose: making Jesus central. We are celebrating God’s stepping into our world; Christmas is our message.

Watching fans cheer loudly for their team to win is contagious. But when their team appears to open up a substantial lead, cheering lessens as complacency sets in. The same happens in our enthusiasm for our Lord. Our response to the goodness of God should be worship and thanksgiving.

The Upper Room. It’s a literal place where we meet with God. When we have a prayer life, our praise has power in it. Glorifying God is above talent and performance. Glorifying God is connected to our prayer life. 

Followers of Jesus should be engaged in the process of electing representative government officials. It is a unique privilege to have this right among the nations of this world. The future of our God given rights hinge on this election. We should be knowledgeable about the candidates and VOTE on November 8th. Biblical principles and freedom are at stake.

Jesus taught that His church would grow because His followers were anointed with His Spirit to GO and make new disciples. When we worship in spirit and in truth bringing others to Jesus is automatic.

We cannot live on evil forebodings, bad news, negativity. Jesus is preparing His church. He’s about to demonstrate His greatness in His church. Cultural transformation will come to our nation, not by our ingenuity, but by the awesome power of the Holy Spirit.
