When God sent Joshua to take the Promised Land, He repeatedly ordered him to not fear and to be strong. He commanded Joshua to be courageous for the people's sake, Joshua's sake, His Name's sake - and even the enemy's sake! As we approach 2018, we must Fear Not - and Be Strong!

We are the Body of Christ - and we are a each an integral part of that Body, with specific gifts and functions that God specifically intended for us to use to bring growth to the Body and Christ to the world.

Generation... Speculation... Dissipation... this was Israel's tragic cyclical pattern of generating freedom and then the subsequent dissipation of freedom, along with its spiritual and moral foundations. And thousands of years later - America is dangerously on its way to repeating the cycle. But also like Israel, God is and always has been the Hope of our nation!

Wounds are inevitable in life - but if we don't allow God to cleanse and heal them, they "infect" us with guilt, bitterness and unforgiveness - and then that Infection spreads to the rest of God's Body! The place of healing and freedom is and always will be - at the foot of the cross.

But many don't realize that our pursuit is not designed by God to be just for individuals - but the for the entire Body of Christ collectively increasing in hunger and a pursuit of God together. When Jesus opens a door, no man can close it - and when He closes one, no one can open it! Doors are very important in the Word - they represent safety, access, transitioning, protection, opportunities, and relationships. We must look to our Doorkeeper to understand what doors need to be closed, moved or opened!

Like God's mighty men and women listed in Hebrews 11's "Hall of Faith" - we are also God's Superheroes! We are called to unite together and put faith into action as we allow the Author of our lives to write our stories into His ultimate true life tale of defeating the enemy. Avengers: Assemble!

The Priesthood of ancient Israel handed down from generation to generation literal Garments of Worship, Praise, Prayer, Fasting and Service to God... and as God's Royal Priesthood today, our families are called to do the same, passing on the legacy of spiritual "garments" of consecration to each generation!
