This morning we want to look at what Paul has to say about thanksgiving. I believe that the greatest singular act of personal worship that you can render to God is to have a thankful heart.

Our Lord's Olivet Discourse does not end in chapter 24 but continues through chapter 25. In our text for today the Lord gives another parable about the need to "be alert" to His coming.

As we continue our Matthew 24 series the Lord gives his disciples a parable to push home the truth of their need to 'watch' for His coming.

There are some who see a division in Matthew 24 at verse 36. They say the first part refers to Christ coming in AD 70 and then at verse 36 shifts to talking about a third Coming of Christ at the end of the wordl. Can this chapter be divided?

What are the 'heavens and earth' that Yeshua talks about in this passage? We need to go to the Tanakh to find out.

We want to expand on the principle, The Bible is One Book. We will be looking at how the Tanakh is used in the New Testament.

If it was easy to understand Scripture there would not be so many different views on what the Bible teaches. What many don't understand is that there are rules to interpreting Scripture.

Yeshua tells his disciples that everything He has been talking about in the Olivet discourse will happen in this generation.'

Who is it that John calls 'the true God' in 1 John 5:20?

Who is the 'evil one' that John talks about? You may be surprised at the different views as to who or what the 'evil one' is.

Who is like Him among the gods, and how should His holiness affect us?

In verse 18 of 1 John 5 who is it that keeps believers? Compare translations.

What does John mean by, 'The sin that leads to death?' Can a believer commit this sin? Are there certain people that we shouldn't pray for?

Do you have confidence in your prayer life? Why is it that you don't pray more?

Can we know with absolute certainty that we have eternal life and will spend eternity with Yahweh?

Are you familiar with the imprecatory prayers in Scripture? Should believers be praying these type of prayers today?

In this text we see a textual problem in relation to the Trinity. Can the doctrine of the Trinity stand without this text?

In this text we see three witnesses that attest to the deity of the Son.

In this text the Lord tells His disciples what the sign will be that He is in heaven.

In this text the Lord assures the believers, who were in the midst of a spiritual battle, that they were overcomer.
