Moonbase 2 Podcast

Crazy dumb cheap Trypticon's have been spotted in America in Ollie’s discount store and Mikey looses his mind over it this week. But there's more then that this week, from Black Mamba's contribution to the 3rd party stuff and M-Deck are making a human scale Optimus Prime Ion Cannon....yea sure. Plus more for the week and Andy and Mikey fun times.

3rd party toys such as FansToys and TFC Toys take over the news for this week on Moonbase 2 from Skullcruncher and Mindwipe to Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime and other people show of more of their products. Plus there are a few other minor stories as well and what the lads did this week including Andy's brief thoughts on Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Its another light week for news, however things are coming to an end, it seems that the Legends Grand Max comic might be the last of the Legends series. Mikey covers this pack in comic as well as Greatshots, Seaspray, Topspin and Twintwist and lets us know whats going down in all of them. Dx9 also shows off their legends scale G1 Prime called Dutch and the very obvious repaint Plissken, few other stories pop up but that's the gist of the show for this week hope you peeps enjoy.

This month Mikey and Andy chat about issue 15# of Lost light which might be the last of the scavengers stories, issue 16# of Optimus Prime with Onyx Prime on Cybertron what does this mean for the Transformers and the Optimus Prime Annual, Thundercracker writes a movie....ok.

Moonbase 2 coming at ya this week with anime vampires and tractors!!! but in the Transformers news there is web comics for Legend Topspin and Twintwist, but not their toy comics, new images of Dream Factory's movie 1 Bonecrusher and the end of the current IDW universe confirmed.....so it seems. On the Moonbase 2 this week Toys R Us finally get that sweet sweet chokeslam to finish them off in the ring of Toy stores, Flame Toys shows off the final coloured images their none transforming Tarn figure. Plus a few other small stories and what the lads did this week. Hope you enjoy the show.

This week on Moonbase 2 Andy and Mikey talk about the rumors that Masterpiece will be doing a 3rd Optimus Prime figure (3.0) for the 35th Anniversary of Transformers, yet still no Galvatron. Also books a plenty coming from IDW and a run down on the Legends comics for Pounce and Wingspan, Windblade and G2 Megatron.....or maybe he ISN'T G2 Megatron after all!!! Toyfair 2018 hit and reveals of figures were on display, not a huge amount but a some things worth talking about such use coloured images of the new Movie line, POTP Abominus combined mode has been shown as well as Predaking and all his teams individual robots. Other stuff was up there as well but there were a few other little bits of info like the Micheal Bay Movie continuity is over but the movies will continue in a new direction which was fairly big news. Transformers news coming to you this week from the Moonbase 2 boys Andy and Mikey! What happened this week of interest? Well transformers themed nightwear and boxer shorts are coming, exciting stuff and wave 2 of Power Of The Primes seems to be hitting america at the moment as the uk still await a full nation wide release of wave 1. There's also more information on what might be happening with the LG Japanese toy line and Andy got himself a crap ton of stuff this week, well crap ton relative to what he usually gets. As we march slowly out of the winter months what news does Mikey and Andy have for us this week in the world of Transformers? Two 3rd Party companies are coming out with TLK Hot Rod one from Dx9 and the other from a new company, the legend Bot clones and Bliztwing have their comics out and Mikey tells use whats happening in them. Plus more fun stuff on this weeks episode!

A light bit of news this week for the Moonbase guys but Mech Planet show off to new prototypes, ones a Goldbug and the other a Cliffjumper, obviously based off their previous Bumblebee release. Images of the new wave of Legends figures from japan are out, this being the Autobot Clones, Blitzwing and Overlord and we have Overlords comic to talk about. As well as a few more stories and what they doods have done this week.

Mikey sat down with the writer of Transformers vs Visionaries, Magdalene Visaggio, to talk about the comic since the first one has now been out for a while. So sit back and learn a bit more about the creation of the comics, of course spoilers for the 1st issue on this episode!

On the show this week Andy and Mikey talk about a new more interesting prototype from Mech Planet, its a Hearts of Steel Bumblebee, MP Cheetor is repainted black to make Shadow Panther (not related to Marvel). So we hope you enjoy this weeks episode.

So Moonbase 2 is back after the Christmas break so this episode is longer then usual as the lads Andy and Mikey catch up on the important news they missed over their time away. So news of guests for TF Nation have been announced, Unique Toys show off their legends scaled Apeface, Snapdragon, Highbrow and Fortmax.....well the head at least and there are 3 Legends comics covered. So strap in for the new year and prepare for 2018.
