Moonbase 2 Podcast

So once again young Mikey gathers another gaggle of goons to talk about the next stage of the IDW Transformers Universe, so Mikey get Amiee, the demon lord of the Underbase and Jeremy, Master engineer and smith of the Transmissions podcast. What do they cover you ask? Well it starts with the Andy Schmidt run, oh yes the ongoing.

Another week and another Moonbase 2 Episode with Andy, Mikey and of course the Transformers new, lacking as it is. So whats on the card for the show today? Well images of the leader class Optimus Prime for Siege but with a Galaxy Convoy twist to him and a little bit on talk on a Bumblebee 2 talk, that's about it so w hope ya enjoy.

The barren lands of January and lack of news kicks in for the Moonbase Boi's this week but Andy and Mikey do their best to dig up some fun topics. So on this weeks show there be rumors afloat about Masterpiece Movie 1 Megatron and Jazz coming, 3A show of their Bee Movie Blitzwing and the new wave of cards for the Trading Card game have been shown and the combiners are coming! Welcome to 2019 and the first episode of the year for Moonbase 2 as Andy and Mikey return to their favorite past times, talking about transformers and other dumb nerdy stuff. Kicking of the new year we have a few stories, zeta toys is releasing a legends scale bar set, Mikey has some thoughts on Lorenzo di Bonaventura recent comments and there will be another fembot for the Elita-1 combiner figure, plus the rest of the news for the week. Happy Christmas 2018 everyone! We all hope you've had or are having a good holiday and have been enjoy it but this is no time for Andy and Mikey to slack off, NO! as there's Transformers news for the week to talk about so grab that eggnog and listen as the lads talk about a new Ironfactory Starcream girl? So what do Andy and Mikey have to talk about this week? well a stealth con went down and showed off a butt ton of 3rd Party figures to chat about, a Movie Bee blanket was shown off and yes even more guest for TF Con LA were revealed again, so many many people. This week, dat boi came back, Mikey returns to help Andy talk about the news for this week and oh boy this week had some spicy news. The Arcee incident is talk about as well as advance screenings of Bumblebee and its positive reception, there are a few other smaller stories as well. Also Andy gives some pro (but really old) Final Fantasy 7 tips for wrecking Emerald and Ruby weapon without touching a button. Anyway we hope you enjoy the show for this week.

Alone this week Andy braves the rough waters that is the news for Transformers this week. So what's in store for Andy? well with news of the full price of the new MP Optimus Prime 3.0 and his accessories, the rumored repaints of Potp Swoop and Jazz have been shown and listed as being under a online exclusive line called "Generations Select" and even more guest have been announced for TFcon in LA, oh lord they just keep coming. So enjoy this week as Andy speaks to the void and hopefully you can get some amusement from it. 

So here we are, we come to the end of things, or at least the end of the IDW comic continuity for Transformers as we currently know it before it gets rebooted in 2019 (apparently. So Mikey and Andy talk about the last issues of Optimus Prime and Lost light, both of which are 25#, hey handy that. So how does it all pan out, will it blow the pants off Andy, will it leave Mikey as a quivering wreck? Join us for this show and find out.

Oh there's some Transformers news for this week but really the biggest news was a wave of guest announcements for TFcon LA happened. So why not make yourself comfy and enjoy the talking.

Since some people have been receiving their Siege Megatron and Prime figures, reviews for them have been coming out and helps the lads decide if they might want them or not. Also on the Siege train Prowl, Sixgun and Pteraxadon, there's also the blind bags for Botbots were shown off as well and as ever the lads fun things for the week. Hope you all enjoy!

Finally Mikey and Andy get to talk about comics this month. With delays for IDW this was the best the boi's could do and so on this episode the lads talk about Lost Light issues 23# and 24#, Optimus Prime issues 23# and 24#. So yes, this will be a long episode so strap in for ALL OF THE COMICS............ALLLLLLL OF THEM.

Welcome one and all to the most important show of the year, why you ask? simple my dear individual, Andy and Mikey talk about the images of the BotBots, unlike last week they just had artwork to look at this week they have pictures of the proper figures! Also on the show Andy goes into the TCG card game, "oh no" hes says as he now has interest in the coming Metroplex set. Also what have they got and done for the week? well have a listen and find out. What's that? you wanted to hear more about Transformers Flight Jackets? well the Moonbase lads got you covered again this week as once more the news is minimal and even young Mikey doesn't have a lot to talk about this week. But we do have news of a new Transformers line called Botbots..........or is it Bot Bots? hmmmmmm anyway its a cute new looking thing but will Andy hate joy once more? Also Andy has watched a few things this week but did he enjoy them have a listen and find out!

The boi's are back in town and Mikey and Andy get to scrap the bottom of the barrel of Transformers news once again and gabbing about their thoughts on it. So what's on the card today? well clothing deals with Puma and and transformers flight jacket, more importantly we have images and price for the Big Powered Takara set. Plus whats been going down in the lads week so we hope you enjoy again.

Well this was a longer episode then anticipated but that's because Andy and Mikey had to cover the reveals from NYCC, lots of new toys to talk about as the Decepticons from Siege have been shown. But of course that's not all as we have a Halloween costume and X-Transbots show of a few new things as well one of which is Autobot-X. OH NO!!!! technical issues make the quality of the show suffer a little this week but Andy and Mikey push through the pain and we hope you can as well since there is a full new Bumblebee trailer to talk about which had the net outside the fandom ablaze with joy. Also Transformer wise we saw prototype and colour images of MMC Dezarus R-42 D-Zef and new that the Japanese Legends line isnt dead as images of Dai Atlus and his two buddies surfaced.
