Moonbase 2 Podcast

Poor Andy, abandoned by Mikey this week for Moonbase 2, left in the cold to talk about all the weeks Transformers news. But fear not Andy perseveres and continues on, not that there's a huge amount this week. With stories like images of Banana Force God Armour (RID Ultra Magnus), images of Siege Smokescreen and Transform And Roll Out Commander of Stars, Andy will do his best.

IDW begins its reboot of the Transformers comic universe and Mikey and Andy chat about the first 2 issues of this new beginning and new world, is it an exciting new time and a good place to jump in or is it the worst thing ever?

Who's dat Legends Transformer? as this week we got promo images of a coloured Star Convoy and silhouettes for 2 up and coming figures , but that's isn't all this week for Andy and Mikey oh no. There are also LED upgrades to the Power of the Prime matrix parts for your leader figures, more terrible Hallmark ornaments and a weird kids book with suction cups......k. Anyway we hope you enjoy this and more Transformers talk and more on this weeks episode.  

So here we are another week and another Moonbase 2 with Andy and Mikey, there be a very hip thrusty pictures of Motormaster from Xtransbots called Gravestone, there's also the web comic for the Japanese Big Powered set (Dai Atlas and his lads) and just pictures of the comic that comes in that box (we hope to talk about translations for that next week) and also the beginning of another wave of TFcon guests begins for the Toronto con. Plus the weird and wonderful things the lads did in the week.

Do you like Lorenzo di Bonaventura? Well we know young Mikey does and so this week Andy was more then happy to let his buddy cover more LDB talk. There not a huge amount else this week for Transformers after TFcon LA passed us by so can the lads entertain you in this episode? we hope so!

Finally TFcon LA unleashed the hordes of guests onto the fans this weekend and also had another 3rd party panel with some new stuff shown but not a huge amount of new products. Also in the news of Transformers news there are even more weird MP10 figures connected to Atmos the shoe company so.....those are things for sure. Anyway there's also the fun stuff that Mikey and Andy did throughout the week, so we hope you enjoy the show this week people!

One week before the massive group of guest going to TFCon LA Mikey and Andy hit the Transformers news yet again but it is once more a dry week. There are more guests going to the con so the lads talk about them, there's ummm...mmmmm OH translated comic for Blue Big Convoy that happened and......ehhhhhhh well Andy and Mikey talk about their weeks so you know....yaaaay.

This week on the Moonbase 2 the return in force of the Crappy Corner as Andy has a good few interesting Transformer tatty items to talk about but fear not for its not just tat as some new figures for the Siege line where shown off at an Australlian Toyfair. Also in the news there a Bumblebee themed cafe opening in Japan for a short amount of time and many a new guest for both TFNation and TFcon. Toyfair 2019 wrap's for another convention so are there any bit of news in the world of Transformers? Well Mikey and Andy scrabble around the ground like a pair of dirty pigeons trying to find stuff to talk about, luckily they found stuff. So on the show this week, LED upgrades from Shockwave Labs, a very blatant advertisement on the Goldbergs and a weird set of cheapo not-lego bricks. So we hope you enjoy he show.

It's that time of year again where a Toyfair appear, however a lot of the reveals were shown before the event, luckily this doesn't effect Andy or Mikey covering it on this weeks episode. So from new Cyberverse toys to the physical Siege Omega Supreme figure hear the lads gab about Transformers for the week plus there was a trailer for Season 2 of Cyberverse as well. Plus all the rest of the news of the week!

Transformers supply Andy and Mikey some decent news this week for the show as a new cartoon accurate MP Bumblebee was shown off at Wonder Fest in japan, do the lads hate it like some people seem to due to his weird face and weird looking body? Blackarachnia is getting a MP figure as well! Plus Wonder Fest has a few other bits to show off, Mazinger Z and Transformers are having a crossover comic, more guests are coming to TFcon LA but who is it this week? Another week another episode of Moonbase 2 with Mikey and Andy and what do the lads have for Transformers this week eh? Well a black and purple Toyworld Devestator, people wishing more reissues will be able to get the 2 pack G1 cassettes of laserbeak and Frenzy and Ravage and Rumble, a few other stories are also about this week but not much.

So with the end of the main Transformers story for IDW what will Mikey and Andy talk about it until the reboot/relaunch happens? Well the side Transformer comics like Star Trek vs Transformers #1 and we look at the first issue of Gobots. 

I wanted TWOOOOOOO podcasts this week! and you will get it when the comic episode come out but until then Andy and Mikey have news, Transformers news to gab about. So whats on the card for today's show? Well Masterpiece movie 1 Megatron and Jazz where shown in full production images and we get to see Jazz has a classic feature relating to his characters, a listed of rumored releases for Studio Series 7 and 8 as well as a new fun Takara comic. Plus more news and the fun the lads did this week. ​

So once again young Mikey gathers another gaggle of goons to talk about the next stage of the IDW Transformers Universe, so Mikey get Amiee, the demon lord of the Underbase and Jeremy, Master engineer and smith of the Transmissions podcast. What do they cover you ask? Well it starts with the Andy Schmidt run, oh yes the ongoing.

Another week and another Moonbase 2 Episode with Andy, Mikey and of course the Transformers new, lacking as it is. So whats on the card for the show today? Well images of the leader class Optimus Prime for Siege but with a Galaxy Convoy twist to him and a little bit on talk on a Bumblebee 2 talk, that's about it so w hope ya enjoy.

The barren lands of January and lack of news kicks in for the Moonbase Boi's this week but Andy and Mikey do their best to dig up some fun topics. So on this weeks show there be rumors afloat about Masterpiece Movie 1 Megatron and Jazz coming, 3A show of their Bee Movie Blitzwing and the new wave of cards for the Trading Card game have been shown and the combiners are coming! Welcome to 2019 and the first episode of the year for Moonbase 2 as Andy and Mikey return to their favorite past times, talking about transformers and other dumb nerdy stuff. Kicking of the new year we have a few stories, zeta toys is releasing a legends scale bar set, Mikey has some thoughts on Lorenzo di Bonaventura recent comments and there will be another fembot for the Elita-1 combiner figure, plus the rest of the news for the week.
