Moonbase 2 Podcast

Andy and Mikey return for another week of Transformer news and even with TFcon being canceled the 3rd party panel continues on!.......in fact as the show was recorded but the lads talk about the reveals and new pics shown as well as a few other small stories and a bit of Star Trek talk because why not? Lets not forget what the lads have been doing during the health lock down! Cheers for tuning in and we hope you are all safe and well.

On the show for this month IDW comics brings us the Transformers main line comic series issue 16# and 17#, finishing off the Constructicons story in Transformers Galaxies issue 4# and starting the Cliffjumper story in issue 5#

Mikey and Andy enter the desert of news this week looking for interesting Transformers news to talk about. Apart from better images and accessory list for the Flametoys Kuro Kara Kiri IDW Megatron there is just new on conventions being canceled due to the dreaded Corona stuff. But the lads talk about what they did during the week which hopefully should be entertaining enough.

Despite the intro to the podcast this week Moonbase 2 is a transformers podcast, promise. But with little in the way of news and Andy starting another rewatch of his favorite tv shows Deep Space 9, Andy and Mikey gush a little about it before getting to the meat and potatoes of the episode. SO whats happening this week? not much, images and a release date for MP-50 Tigatron where revealed, Magicsquare repaint their legend scaled Prime into the Ghostbusters colours and totally not Unicron rises from the darkness!   Plus the usual stuff the lads did in the week.

Moonbase 2 back for another week and Andy and Mikey recover from Toyfair last week with a lot less news this week but no less of the fun........hopefully. So whats on the show this week? well 2 more Earthrise figures were revealed this time Sunstreaker and Trailerbreaker, Takara Tomy show their Earthrise Allicon and is PANK!  and Devil Saviour have their movie Devestator shown in proto images. Andy gets to talk about what he did over the last 2 weeks since he couldnt last week and then Mikey has a few bits as well.

TOYFAIR 2020 guys, its here and well.....we got a lot of it spoiled before the show was able to reveal them which was a shame, but with plenty of new toys shown Andy and Mikey have enough to cover this week. Flametoys also have a few more things shown including their Windblade and of course it kicked up a storm on social media again so the lads talk about it yet again. 

Whats new this week for Transformers? you ask, well on the Moonbase 2 this week we see maybe our first images of the Deluxe Cyberverse Grimlock figure, RacknRuin are out as well and we get a trailer for the next season of Cyberverse and its been renamed. War for Cybertron listings for the Allicon and Arcee have gone up and of course we find out what Andy and Mikey did of interest over the week.  

Wonderfest cracked down overseas and as such Andy and Mikey have some reveals to talk about from 2 new masterpiece reveals and the last 2 bots for the studio series ROTF Devestator. Also seems like IDW plan to do a one shot TF crossover with My Little Pony and of course a few other small bits that cropped up during the week and what the lads did of course.

It's 2020 and this is the first episode of Teletraan 2 where Mikey and Andy can start digging into the Transformer comics for the year. We are kicking off with a surprisingly good assortment this month with issue 15# of the main series and issue 3# of TF Galaxies, but is this description you're reading now right now a LIE or are this a both decent issue? Find out with the boi's.

On Moonbase 2 this week Andy and Mikey talk about the leaks for the up and coming Skylynx figure as well as our first coloured image of the Titan class Scorponok (granted these images aren't the best) as well as some battle masters. Also Lemon Tree show their bumblebee movie Optimus Prime figure. Plus the rumours of the return of Botcon :O and the usual talk of woo woo and nonsense the lads did in the week.

Join Andy and Mikey in the desolate wasteland that is the Transformers news desert this week as the lads have a new comic book series announcement called Transformers 84 Secrets and Lies. Also this week more guests for conventions and Shockwave Labs show off some more upgrade kits this time one for POTP Rodimus Prime and Unicronus and the Leader Studio Series Shockwave. Plus a few other tid bits and what the lads did this week. As ever cheers peeps for listening.

Still hanging in the drought of news that is January Andy and Mikey talk about the few bits of Transformers news that surfaced this week such as upgrade kit for the SS-44 Jetwing Optimus Prime, Irontans king Leo and fancy new posed pics of the Flametoys furai Optimus Prime (G1 of course) have popped up. Plus Mikey talks about circling a new black money hole, the Nendroid hole! and the other stuff both the lads did in the week.

Andy and Mikey look at Transformers Valintines day card, they're lenticular oooooooo, as well as an activity book. But that's not all in the news for Transformers this week, no no, there are more guests announced for TFcon and TFN, plus a 2nd wave of miniatures are coming out for the paint enthusiast's out there. Welcome to the year 2020 and the first podcast episode of the year with the return of both Andy and Mikey and the news from over the past 2 weeks all on Transformers of course. So Lemontree have images of their prototpe Purple Potato....yes that's its name, the cyberverse line revealed a 3-pack with a Quintesson figure in it and some future figure announcements. Welcome one and all to the last Moonbase 2 episode of 2019! woooooooooo. So both Andy and mikey have a few stories from the world of transformers to cover like ThreeZero show images of Bumblebee Movies Soundwave and Ravage figures, IDW reveals a new VS comic this time it against the Terminator with Milne and Barber working on it along with David Mariotte and Tom Waltz, finally Lemon Tree show off their 3rd party movie Bumblebee toys. Plus what the lads did this week!

The return of diseased Mikey HURRAH He comes back to help Andy out with the Transformers news for this week. So whats on the card you ask? well SGC held an event and a butt tone of Iron Factory stuff was shown off as well as Iron Warrior Knockout from TF Prime and Ultra Magnus as well. Also the Nezha X Transformer show got a trailer and we have images of one of the toys that seems to be of similar quality to the Cyberverse Deluxe figures. Plus what have the lads done this week!

Once more Andy is alone this week, where is Mikey you ask? Maybe hes on the moon, maybe he fights evil in another dimension, MAYBE hes just playing on his PS4. NO MATTER for there is Transformers news to cover for the week so Andy will do his best to make it another entertaining, if quick, show for the week.

OH NO! Mikey is ill so Andy takes the reigns of the show lone this week and does his best to talk about all the Transformer news for this week. What's on the card for today then? well it seems china is getting some sort of Kreo return to their toy shelves, Black Convoy is getting a repaint out of 3.0 MP Prime to no ones surprise and it seems the train combiner Raiden is going to be the first official MP combiner. Plus what did pretty Andy do this week you mutter to yourself? HE WILL TELL YOU!!

Its another week in the world of Transformers news, so what do Andy and Mikey have this week you ask? Well Newage Toys show off full colour images of their legends Starscream, Thundercracker and SKywarp as well as the 3 cone head lads as well, Killerbody have images and a video of their Bluetooth speaker mask movie Bumblebee and it transformers into the battle mask and that's it. Oh and Peter Cullen is coming to TFN 2020..............
