Central to today's episode, much of Dr. Wiener's important work has snowballed since he first questioned the growing tendency to make behavioral problems medical disabilities...especially for boys. His groundbreaking work with ADHD shows that the behaviors included in the ADHD diagnosis can become frequent due to reinforcement. This "medicalization of the social" is a topic of interest for all of us as men, for sure...and for a variety of reasons, actually. What would Craig tell men who have been told there's something wrong with them by the medical field, when it might actually be a social thing? Could we simply need some self-work on our social skills. Or worse, could we have been told something is wrong with us when we're really just fine?  What about when parents project medical diagnoses upon their kids? (e.g. Health Anxiet
